Complaints Procedure

Ireland - Ben 2 forms - deadline 22nd November 2019


Are you a beneficial owner of an Irish company? Or on senior management?

If so, you may be required to complete a Form BEN 2 before 22nd November 2019. This must be signed and witnessed before a Notary Public.

Information in detail:
Beneficial owners and senior management of Irish companies without an Irish PPS number having been assigned to them,  are required to complete a Form BEN 2 verifying their identity, date of birth, nationality and address in accordance with Regulation 21(2) (b) s. 110/2019. This form must be signed and witnessed before a Notary Public before the 22nd November 2019 deadline.

Once completed, signed and witnessed, the form needs to be uploaded to the RBO (Central Register of Beneficial Ownership of Companies and Industrial and Provident Societies) portal. Forms should not be emailed or posted.

Any company or individual who has not filed before this date will be deemed to be late and may be subject to sanctions as prescribed in the Regulations.
Regulation 20 (b) requires all newly incorporated companies to register their beneficial ownership within five months of incorporation.
